Clubhouse Team Leader, Full-time – 40 hrs a week – up to £10/hour

We’re looking for an individual as passionate as the rest of the team to further strengthen the stellar reputation of our member services team.

Are you a people-person? Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy that fuzzy feeling which comes from helping? If so, you might just be who we have been looking for!

We are currently recruiting for a Clubhouse Team Leader who will help us to continue delivering exceptional levels of member service. This is an exciting and rewarding role for someone who is looking for a fresh challenge in an innovative and rapidly expanding industry.

As a Clubhouse Team Leader you will be working up to 40 hours per week, including working in a shift pattern alongside another Team Leader. The position will pay up to £10 an hour dependent on experience and part-time positions will be considered for suitable applicants.

What you’ll be doing

  • General – the general day-to-day running of the Clubhouse Team, making sure all daily tasks are being carried out effectively and in a timely manner. Leading by example you will guarantee that the Clubhouse Team works and is promoted in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Complaints/Escalation – dealing with complaints/escalations from members and applicant, making sure any resulting action points are followed through.
  • Rota Management – rotas are to be continuously kept up to date with shift swaps, holidays, sickness and extra hours recorded. You will also record overtime to be supplied on a monthly basis for payroll.
  • Daily Tasks – ensure weekly tasks and break lists are produced and kept up to date when holidays/sickness occurs. Proactively monitor daily task progress with the Clubhouse Team and re-assign tasks if necessary. You will also need to assist on these tasks and inbound calls at peak periods.
  • Clubhouse Info – keeping the Clubhouse Team up to date on service level agreement (SLA’s) targets.
  • Training – providing training to new members of the Clubhouse Team plus any additional training for current team members. Working with the Clubhouse Manager to ensure all training docs are kept up to date.
  • Audits – carry out audits to ensure SLA’s are achieved and whether there are any re-training needs for Clubhouse team members. You will also accurately record audit results, feeding results back to individuals and providing the Clubhouse Manager with a monthly overview report.
  • Billing Exceptions – ensure trip data exceptions and open billing problems are investigated and resolved on a daily basis.
  • Livechat & Social Media – responding to Livechat enquires and ensuring this is monitored in others absence. You will also assist the Marketing department with emergency social media responses in non-standard office hours.
  • System Housekeeping – ensuring the application list is up to date and that any duplicate applications are removed and partial audits are regularly carried out to ensure member data is correct.
  • Reports – providing the Clubhouse Manager with information in weekly update meetings and emailing a brief report at the end of each month with any on-going problems, feedback, key improvements etc. Assistance to the Clubhouse Manager for ad-hoc reports is also required.
  • Team Meetings – arranging regular team meetings including producing the agenda, leading meetings, recording minutes and action points thereafter.
  • Cover – acting as Clubhouse Manager whilst on holiday/absence.
  • Adhoc Duties – assisting on projects, providing management with information, knowledge etc.

Experience and person specification

  • Previous experience working as a Team Leader/Supervisor role in a customer service and/or technical help desk environment
  • Good IT skills, database and CRM experience desirable
  • Confident and professional phone manner
  • Friendly personality
  • Ability to communicate clearly and calmly
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Good at working under pressure
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Fluent English
  • Full driving licence
  • Knowledge of cars is useful but not essential
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

Development and Locations Executive – £30k to £35k – Leeds based

City Car Club is a leading and long standing major player in the fast growing car sharing/car club sector in the UK.  With a membership in excess of 30,000 currently sharing 800 vehicles across 18 cities in England, Scotland and Wales, City Car Club is looking to strengthen its revenue by increasing the number of locations in which vehicles can be sited.  This will be achieved by working with property developers and construction companies around the UK, through section 106 agreements, and voluntary commercial arrangements.

The ‘Development and Locations Executive’ will work with the Head of Locations to maximise the growth and revenue potential of the London developer market and exploit opportunities elsewhere in the UK.

The role will be based in City Car Club’s Leeds Head Office with regular travel to London and other cities as required.

Successful candidates will preferably have existing commercial and relationship management experience.  They will have very strong time management, project management, communication and commercial skills and be able to be self-administrating in all aspects of their work.  Successful candidates will be ambitious, professional and enthusiastic.  They will have a passion for the environmental vision of City Car Club but with a clear ability to ensure solutions are commercially viable and as profitable possible for City Car Club.  Experience of the car sharing sector would be advantageous but not essential.  Experience of the UK and specifically London developer market would also be a highly attractive feature for a candidate.

Clubhouse Team Member, Part-time – 12 hours per week – up to £7.50/hour

We’re growing at such a rate that we need an extra pair of hands to help us to continue delivering the exceptional levels of customer service our members have come to expect.

Do you like that fuzzy feeling that helping others brings? Are you passionate about exceptional customer service and have previous experience in a customer service role? If so, you might just be who we are looking for!

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our Clubhouse Team, helping our thousands of members who are taking advantage of our many car club vehicles across the UK. You will be working with us on a part time basis, specifically 12 hours per week – Saturday 0800 to 1400 and Sunday 0900 to 1500. The position pays an hourly rate of up £7.50 dependent upon experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Processing new applicants from initial application to issuing membership packs
  • Proactively monitoring reservation activity on screen to pre-empt any vehicle availability issues
  • Responding to requests from existing members to make or change reservations
  • Assisting members with any in-car technology, car maintenance or parking problems and liaising, when appropriate, with technology suppliers, roadside assistance companies and local authority parking services departments
  • Respond to membership enquiries received online or by phone
  • Follow up all membership enquiries to an agree timetable and frequency
  • Ensure that the applicants meet the approved insurance criteria
  • Assist in credit control

Experience and person specification
