City Car Club: cheapest daily car rental in Edinburgh?
This week, an article in the Herald Scotland (24.08.10) did a snapshot comparison for renting a car for the day in Edinburgh. And guess what, City Car Club came out the cheapest!
“This week, a day’s hire for a small car at City Car Club would have cost £39.50, at National £47, and £57 at Avis”
So why not pick up one of the 100 City Cars located right across Edinburgh, and head off for a day trip somewhere?
I can attest to this fact. I was visiting Edinburgh last summer with family & we used the City Car Club for a 3 day rental & it was the best value deal
Could this cheaper day rate be sustained in the longer term? It certainly makes joining CCC a more competitive alternative for those who need a car for the occasional day away.
Since one is paying a membership fee to CCC I would rather hope that the hire fees would be lower.
