City Car Club goes electric
As an organisation that is committed to reducing CO2 emissions and congestion across the UK, we are proud to announce our latest addition to the City Car Club fleet is the fully electric Nissan LEAF.
Thanks to our partnership with Edinburgh University, Transport for Scotland and the ECCI we now have the infrastructure to place an electric vehicle in the city of Edinburgh. The car can be found in the heart of the city at High School Yards, Infirmary Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1LZ and is available to reserve from today onwards.
Falling into our ‘Medium’ category, the LEAF is available from just £5.95 an hour, with a mileage charge of just 5p per mile (less than a quarter of our usual mileage rate).
Not only is it great value for money but it’s also very fun to drive – with its ultra-modern interior and super quiet drive, you almost feel like you’re hovering 3 feet above the ground. However novelties aside, the LEAF is one of the most useful and practical cars on our fleet
With Features such as:
- CD Player
- ECO drive mode
- Push button start
- Folding Seats
- Electric mirrors/windows
It has definitely been designed to impress – whether it’s a business meeting, the school run or a trip to the shops you’ll find it difficult not to love the LEAF. With a range of 90 miles and a universal charger that can be used in most standard charge points, there’s nowhere you can’t go.
Fancy taking it for a spin? Simply log into your account now and reserve it, but hurry, reservations are coming in fast.
