What it costs - all prices are inclusive of VAT
Mileage
You'll be pleased to know that mileage is unlimited - you can drive as many miles as you want with each booking. There is a small mileage charge per mile you drive. This charge covers the cost of fuel, so you'll never need to pay for your own fuel in a City Car. The current mileage charge is stated above and this is monitored every month in line with fluctuations in the cost of fuel at the pumps and will be decreased or increased as necessary. We will always strive to keep this mileage charge as low as possible.
If you need to fill up the car during your booking, simply pay with the fuel card and the bill will go to City Car Club. At the end of your trip, the in-car computer will calculate how many miles you have driven.
Insurance
Fully comprehensive insurance is included as part of the annual membership fee (standard £500 excess)
Reduced excess option (£100): £5.00 per month
Drivers aged 19-20: compulsory £10 per month insurance fee, which comes with a reduced excess of only £250. That's just £120 a year for fully comprehensive cover!
We only ask you to pay an excess if our insurance company deems you liable for any damage to the vehicle, or if no third party can be assigned blame.
