The car park is located very close to the city centre, opposite the Theatre Royal and next to the art gallery and Exhibition Square bus stop. The car park is very small, holding approximately 30 vehicles. The cars are parked towards the wall at the far end of the car park directly straight ahead of the entrance, parked in bays marked York Car Club.

By rail - the City Car is a 6 minute walk from York Train Station. Exit left from the station and follow Station Road for 0.3 miles, and then bear left into St Leonard's Place where you will see the car park.
